Given the reality of today’s high maintenance lifestyles, and spirit-crushing expectations of “doing” at the expense of “being”, I educate parents to live in ways more mindful of their own needs, as well as those of their children. I am a licensed clinical social worker with an MSW from Columbia University, and extensive training in couples and family treatment at the Family Institute of Westchester. In addition to maintaining a private practice, with a specialty in treating couples for over 25 years, I am an Adjunct Professor at Montclair State University, where I teach in the Family and Child Studies Department.
