I have found that when people first come to see me for help with their relationship or just problems in day to day living, they are usually feeling quite upset and unsettled. They very much want to get back to those happier times when they felt close to their partner or better about themselves. The Number One reason people seek help is feeling empty, lonely, isolated and having very little or no true communication with their partner. I help couples and individuals discover unhealthy patterns and roadblocks that have contributed to the loss of warmth, harmony, excitement and love once shared. We work on communication skills that seem so hard to figure out while feeling so upset. I have had a great deal of experience with people who are struggling with a lack of emotional or sexual intimacy, communication breakdown, infidelity, problems with family members, disagreements about child rearing, lack of respect, jealousy and anger, and many more issues common to both couples and individuals. For me it is very rewarding when I can help people clear out the negatives and confusion that make the ability to communicate, feel close and loving, or make good decisions so difficult. The goal is to help people find what they need, whether it is a decision not to be together, or whenever possible to restore a loving, harmonious, exciting and caring relationship.
